Stowmarket has lots on offer to people of all ages. As well as the many country walks in and around the town there is also a mature and challenging 18 hole Golf Course which the English Golf Union has designated as a 'Centre of Excellence'.

Stowmarket also boasts Suffolks only open air museum in the guise of the Museum of East Anglian Life. This 70 acre site features a glimpse of the past and an enjoyable day out for the family.

If you like things a bit livlier, Stowmarket has a good social scene with many active clubs and groups, public houses to suit every taste and two nightclubs.
