Aims of the Operation & Services Committee
- To monitor Stowmarket Town Council's management of internal operations and delivery of public services.
- To guide financial planning within the business objectives and meeting pubic requirements.
Remit of the Operations & Services Committee
- Receive quarterly reports from the Deputy Town Clerk and the Public Services Manager
- Consider budget proposals and make recommendation to Full Council.
- Approve applications for financial assistance.
- Advise on personnel matters and make strategic staffing decisions.
- Review accommodation and facilities
- Consider development of new public services and/or extension of existing services.
